Lake Erie College

Lake Erie College requested help to breathe new life into their brand, increase

student acquisition, improve alumni relations, and increase giving from donors.

 

My role was to elevate their existing branding, craft a compelling campaign refresh targeted at potential students, and simplify their cumbersome brand guidelines for their internal teams.

Getting To
The Point

Student acquisition is a very high priority for all in the higher education space. This is where we focused the majority of our efforts, crafting a campaign that spoke plainly to the goals and passions of potential enrollees.

The Final Say

Lake Erie's message not only reached directly to their student audience online and on social media, but was followed up with postcards sent to decision makers at home as well.

Breaking
The Mold

Spacial disruption was utilized in all deliverable where possible. Utilizing this design tactic would draw attention to key information and differentiate the college's campaign from others.

Time Well Spent

Lake Erie's internal teams were having a hard time quickly finding the information they needed from a very extensive brand guide. 

​

While referencing the existing guide, a condensed guideline was crafted to minimize the time spent learning how to represent the college and more time supporting staff and students.
